Does Asana already have email-to-task?

Yes. It dumps your email body as one block of text in the description. The Gmail add-on only syncs the "most recent 5 messages." You still fill in due dates and priority by hand.

Can Asana extract due dates from emails?

No. Asana has AI features, but they don't apply to email-to-task. Natural language like "need this by Friday" is ignored. You set the due date manually after the task is created.

What about task email addresses for routing replies?

Task email addresses exist in Asana, but according to an Asana Forum Leader, routing replies to existing tasks is "not a supported feature." Casso makes this work with the ticket:xxxx pattern.
